The vast majority of financial services firms in Ireland expect to lose business to the burgeoning fintech sector. The global consultancy firm PwC estimates cumulative investment in the sector worldwide could “well exceed” $150 billion with the period.
However more than two-thirds of the firms said they were putting fintech ‘at the heart of their strategy’ for the future in response to the potential impact of technology.
